Moran Center Executive Director, Patrick Keenan-Devlin, was interviewed by Evanston Round Table about his role in redesigning the station adjustment forms for the Evanston Police Department. Keenan-Devlin was a part of the the Alternatives to Arrest Committee whose goal, “is to find local alternatives to arrests for misdemeanors and reduce the number of young adults that have a difficult time finding a job later in life because of an arrest or conviction on their record.” The article entitled, New Station Adjustment Forms Designed for Clarity and Support for Juveniles Arrested by Evanston Police, describes what changes have been made to the station adjustment forms and the inclusion of restorative support in the new form design.
