Megan McClung directs the School-Based Civil Legal Clinic. As part of her work, she coordinates volunteer legal skills trainings, oversees pro bono assignments, and represents clients in civil matters. Prior to joining the Moran Center in 2019, she trained lawyers and coordinated two pro bono programs for the Chicago Bar Association, in addition to providing trial skills training courses through the CBA College of Trial Advocacy. For more than 15 years, she has been a Trial Practice adjunct professor for Loyola University Chicago School of Law. A former Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago Law Department, she defended the City in tort-related matters and prosecuted building and land use violations. She graduated from Northern Illinois University School of Law cum laude and received her B.A. in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
