The Moran Center is thrilled to announce our first ever benefit concert, Mavis Staples: A Concert for Justice!
On December 1, 2023, Cahn Auditorium in Evanston will host music and civil rights icon Mavis Staples for a special evening in benefit of the James B. Moran Center for Youth Advocacy. All ticket purchases directly support the Moran Center, guaranteeing community access to the Moran Center’s free lifeline of integrated legal, mental health, and restorative services to youth and families.
We thank our concert sponsors and underwriters for their commitment to helping us advance our vision of a more just, racially equitable, and restorative society at the local, regional, and state levels.

Ticket sales for Mavis Staples: A Concert for Justice are available online or at the Evanston SPACE box office prior to the event. Ticket processing fees do not support the Moran Center, and can be avoided by purchasing tickets directly from Evanston SPACE, our partner in hosting this event.
