Prior to joining the Moran Center, Mr. Guacci was a Senior Attorney at Housing Conservation Coordinators (HCC) representing low-income tenants in eviction proceedings in New York City Housing Court with the goal of strengthening and preserving affordable housing. Prior to working at HCC, Mr. Guacci was a Clinical Faculty member at the University of Miami School of Law’s Children and Youth Law Clinic teaching and mentoring law students to represent children in the foster care system. Mr. Guacci also worked at the Legal Aid Society in NYC defending children and youth with delinquency matters in the juvenile justice system.
In order to maintain a healthy work-life balance, Mr. Guacci has been a certified yoga instructor & life coach since 2011. To quench his thirst for more knowledge about healing the heart, mind & soul Mr. Guacci graduated from the Gestalt Center for Psychotherapy and Training where he received an advanced certification in psychoanalysis and Gestalt therapy.
Mr. Guacci is a tri-barred lawyer in New York, Florida, and Illinois. He received his B.A. with a dual-major in Philosophy and Gender Studies from the University of Florida. In 2004, Mr. Guacci earned his J.D. from CUNY School of Law and has been practicing public interest law ever since.
